Boarding & Daycare

At Blue Valley Animal Hospital, we understand how hard it is to leave your animals behind when you travel. Our dog and cat boarding services provide you with a safe place to keep your animals so you do not have to worry about them while you are away.

With easy access to veterinary care, our boarding facilities provide you with the peace of mind you need throughout the duration of your travels. Not only do we have comfortable amenities for your pets, but our entire staff practices compassionate care so your animals feel right at home.

If you choose to board with us, you can pick up your pet during our normal office hours, or stop by on Saturdays (8 a.m. - 12 p.m.) or Sundays (3 p.m. - 5 p.m.).

Dog Boarding

Our canine visitors enjoy comfortable, elevated Kuranda beds and healthy iVet Reduced Fat Canine Food or you can provide the cuisine of your choice. Each dog gets his favorite blanket and a nice bowl of fresh water to make him feel at home right from the beginning of the stay. Dogs either enjoy group play or individual exercise. We even offer a complimentary soothing Hydrosurge boarding bath and fan-dry if he's staying over 6 nights. The environment at Blue Valley Animal Hospital ensures your dog feels safe, secure, and comfortable while you are away.

We require dogs to be current on their distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccine, with a negative fecal/giardia test within the last 6 months. Dogs must also have flea/heartworm treatment 30 days prior to boarding.

Cat Boarding

Cats get their own dedicated area of the facility so they can enjoy a peaceful, quiet (and dog-free) stay. Our private room is equipped with climbing towers, scratching posts, and large windows for bird watching. We feed each cat iVet Reduced Fat Feline Food unless you provide the cuisine of your choice. We also clean his litter box at least twice a day.

Cats must have negative fecal results and flea treatment, as well as current rabies and distemper vaccines.

Medical Boarding

Sometimes pets require extra care that regular boarding can’t offer. Maybe your pet recently had surgery, has a debilitating condition, or has extensive medication needs. Our medical staff provides medical boarding for those pets 7 days a week. Your pet will stay in our hospital area and is attended to by our veterinary technicians and assistants. Medical needs are addressed ensuring your pet receives top-level care while you are away from home. Please call our office to schedule medical boarding for your pet today!
