Blue Valley Animal Hospital offers patient boarding form(s) online so you can complete them in the convenience of your own home or office.
Sometimes it just isn't possible for your beloved companion to accompany you on that extended journey so you're understandably worried about your pet's health and emotional state while you're away. That's why you should let Blue Valley Animal Hospital introduce you to the many advantages and benefits of pet boarding Overland Park style. Our facility offers cat boarding and dog boarding for Overland Park and Leawood animals, providing a reassuring combination of veterinary skill, comfortable amenities, and compassionate care.
Veterinary pet boarding is much safer than leaving your pet at home alone, where he might become highly agitated, experience a health emergency, or possibly wander into harm's way. Professional dog and cat boarding provides a controlled environment where your friend can be safe during your absence. It also means that your dog or cat is under the watchful eye of trained veterinary staff who can give medications, detect problems, and administer emergency treatment if necessary. Drs. Spain and Gardner make every effort to provide our guests with the state-of-the-art attention they deserve.
Dog Boarding - Our canine visitors enjoy comfortable elevated Kuranda beds and healthy iVet Reduced Fat Canine Food (unless you would rather supply us with his cuisine of choice). We'll provide him with his favorite blanket and a nice bowl of fresh water to make him feel at home right from the beginning. Group play or individual exercise, whichever is recommended for your dog, will also help keep him happy and healthy. We can even offer a complimentary soothing Hydrosurge boarding bath and fan-dry if he's staying over 6 nights.
Cat Boarding - We keep cats in their own dedicated area of the facility so they can enjoy a peaceful, quiet (and dog-free) ambience. Our private rooms for cats include climbing towers, scratching posts, and nice large windows for bird watching. The daily menu features iVet Reduced Fat Feline Food, unless of course your finicky family member would rather consume the food you provide for us. We also make sure to clean his litter box twice a day or more.
If you're interested in Overland Park or Leawood Pet Boarding, schedule the boarding stay as far in advance as possible. We require dogs to be current on their Distemper, Bordatella, Canine Influenza and Rabies Shots, along with Negative Fecal/Giardia within 6 months and Flea/Heartworm treatment 30 days prior to boarding. Cats must also have negative fecal results and flea treatment, as well as updated Chlamydia/Rabies/Distemper Immunizations. You can pick up your pet during our normal office hours, or stop by on Saturdays (8am-12pm) or Sundays (3pm-5pm).
We offer discounted rates for multiple pets or extended stays of 8 or more nights please Contact Us today for details!
